And for my cruising friends whom I failed to meet in Miami: Screw you and your canoe. When do we get to take time off from life to cruise? Never, I say, that's when. And when there is a blank spot on the calendar, it gets filled up with doctor appointments, lawyer calls, school crises... WE DON'T EVEN GET TO HAVE SEX IN OUR OWN HOME ANYMORE, much less on a boat, and there you two are, cruising your asses off and making whoopee (WHOOPEE!!) in your stateroom...at many ports of call.

Harrumph.
We hope you're happy and that you had a good time...even if we weren't there.
So nyah.

What I've learned from this little tirade:

1) We really need to get out of this house,
2) Partner and I should be having a threesome with a major professional who enjoys cruising,
3) Partner and I should be having sex...PERIOD,
4) We need a better word than "partner," pardner,
5)We need to friggin' move so we CAN have sex,
6) I'm not all that pissed off about cruise ship pollution anymore...really, I'm not...really,
7)I'll have to explain number 5 in another post.
