So fat people get poorer gas mileage than thin people? Have we gone this far in the micro-management department that our body weight indices will now be included in the sticker information?

So I guess we all better think twice before offering anyone a ride to work.

This Just In...

According to a post in Sticks of Fire: "The media and city officials regularly check blogs for neighborhood news."

They do?! Probably not mine but here goes: I live in a condoized apartment complex called The Pinnacle (a real misnomer). We have at least 3 drug dealers (that's near my unit) and the trash they attract, kids and adults smoking their weed-stuffed Black and Milds out in the parking lot and in the stairways (get high in your own unit, okay?) leaving tobacco-stuffed cellophanes everywhere as evidence, auto theft (two in one weekend recently), resident thugs who regularly break into the weight room/basketball court and hold the place hostage, regular auto break-ins. The sheriff's department is here weekly and more...

There. That about sums up life in our little corner of Tampa.

Let's give a hand to those out-of-touch, out-of-state condo owners who don't give a crap who their tenants are or how they live.

Addendum: I didn't want to touch it to take a photo but if it's still out there in a bit I will because I "found a crack pipe, found a crack pipe, found a craaack pipe juuust nooowww..."

Mark ("I'm not a pedophile, I'm gay") Foley

So Mark Foley finally came out. Not as a pedophile. Oh, no, that would be too damaging to the GOP. Nope, he came out as gay. That's right. He propositioned 16-year old boys because he's a drunk and he's gay.

He propositioned 16-year old boys becaue he's a pedophile and it's time the republican party admits they have just as many whacko's as they paint their hated liberal adversaries.

And now we see him falling on the sword, so to speak, by "coming out" as a gay man. Great! Be gay! But that doesn't give Mark Foley, a pedophile, a place to hide his weenie.

In his final act as a congressional pedophile, Mark Foley tried to deflect attention from his outrageous act by coming out gay--after a history of voting against any gay-rights legislation and for DOMA.  

Because, as Rhonda Storms has oft reminded us: it's SO much worse than anything else to be gay.

Mark Foley may be a 'Mo. But what overrides his very straight form of gayness is the fact that Mark Foley is a pedophile.

Mark Foley is a pedophile. Mark Foley is a pedophile. MARK FOLEY IS A PEDOPHILE.

And the GOP protected him.
